They were extra crispy on the outside and fluffy and tender on the inside. I added a teaspoon of vanilla, two shakes of cinnamon, one shake of nutmeg and an extra egg white.
Don't over mix either. I served them at a brunch with omelets to order and bloody Marys; the waffles were the talk of the brunch. I thought people were going to pass- out they were so good; the folks raved about them.

Better than any other store bought or homemade waffle I have ever made, and I've made quite a few. These are just worth every effort.
